It hosts plays, gigs, talks and musicals, and the quirky and somewhat intimate setting makes for a great audience experience. "After the Victorian Pavilion Theatre burnt down in the 1980s the Niemeyer-esque Landmark Theatre took its place. Looking like a pair of kilns or cooling towers on the promenade, the theatre clashes with the otherwise historic townscape. If you’re in need of some light entertainment there are musicals, tribute bands and touring classic rock and pop artists."

"21/05/2021: I’ve had the pleasure of eating here a few times between lockdowns. The food has been 1st class every time and I will definitely be back and recommend to others. After the reading the reviews I do agree there are 1 or 2 staff members that could make a little more effort with attitude but I certainly wouldn’t say they are anywhere near rude, just busy and adapting to changing situations.Nobody should have to deal with rude people at work, even if they are customers!!!. I will will look forward to coming back very soon. 05/05/2021: Just had 2 takeaway pizzas, so so so tasty!"

"I know the food at Villaggio so well; I don’t need to see the menu. Having the king prawn gamberoni to start with some bread to mop up the creamy tomato and garlic sauce. Then either a gallese pizza (cheese, tomato, laverbread, leeks and bacon) or penne al pollo (chicken and mushrooms in a rich, creamy white wine sauce)."
