"29/05/2021: Dinner for our party of five was a traditional Sunday menu but none the worse for that: roast beef with all the trimmings, pork with apple sauce, roast chicken, all fine. Excellent lemon posset to follow. Good choices at breakfast for two of us, trad with some local extras like black pudding, or continental, porridge..."

"21/05/2021: We sat outside on a very wet day as it was the only table left. under cover of canopy. Whilst eating food , the canopy went in every few minutes so we all got soaking wet as did our food, which was very poor to begin with."
