My Favourite Coffee Shops In St Ives Cornwall
"The view is beyond gorgeous and the coffee is nice and strong. They don’t do the BIGGEST coffees (I would like them to be maybe double the size), but the combination of taste and setting still makes this a great place to have a coffee. I love to sit outside on a sunny day on the terrace."

St Ives' six beaches - which will you choose
"The smallest and most sheltered of St Ives’ beaches, Porthgwidden is east facing, meaning it’s ideal for those who wish to get to the beach early and bask in the sun all day!. While there are no lifeguards, Porthgwidden is usually completely safe for bathing, and also welcomes you with a lovely café on the white terrace, a handy snack kiosk, toilets and parking nearby."

25 brilliant things to do in St Ives, Cornwall
"The smallest and most secluded of the beaches in St Ives, Bamaluz is tucked in between Porthgwidden and the harbour. Its sand is only exposed at low tide, and you can reach it by descending the steps opposite St Ives Museum. Bamaluz is the only of St Ives’ beaches that is dog-friendly all year round, so you can bring your canine friends, but note there are no facilities or lifeguard services."

St Ives' six beaches - which will you choose
"This is the perfect beach if you’re bringing your doggy, as it’s one of only two beaches in St Ives without restrictions – and it’s extremely close to town for a bite to eat. Mind you, be sure to go at low tide, as it disappears at high tide – at low tide, you can always take the doggy down to the Lighthouse at the end of Smeaton’s Pier."

Beaches in St Ives
"There are few towns anywhere which can rival St Ives for both number and quality of beaches. There are no less than five beautiful sandy beaches within easy walking distance of St Ives town centre. St Ives has few rivals for the crown of Cornwall's best beach town."

"Just north of St Just near Pendeen, this historic mine closed in 1990 and now provides a powerful insight into the dark, dingy and dangerous conditions in which Cornwall's miners worked. Above ground, you can view the dressing floors and the original machinery used to sort the minerals and ores, before taking a guided tour into some of the underground shafts. Claustrophobes need not apply."

"This wonderful medieval house and garden was the family seat of the Godolphin family who, during the 17th and 18th centuries, were one of Cornwall's great mining dynasties. The main house is still undergoing restoration by the National Trust: tours of the interior run on most days (check ahead), but the wider estate can be explored on your own. With acres of woodland, riverside walks and lawns to roam, it's hard to think of a more tranquil place for a stroll."
