The Roman Bank located pub has gained plenty of praise on TripAdvisor with one reviewer posting: "We stopped off here on a walk around Ingoldmells to have a drink and lunch. "The staff were very friendly and the meals were lovely, would definitely recommend a meal at The Lookout."

The estate goes back to Medieval times and from the 15th century, it belonged to the Wyndham family. Their lion and fetterlock (a heraldic padlock) motif surfaces throughout the house."

A century later, in the late-1800s it was extensively renovated by the architect Arthur Blomfield. There is not a vast amount of old interest at the church, but you will be fascinated by the height of the arcades, the wooden ceiling and the stained glass."

However, in the late 1800s, Arthur Blomfield (an architect) completely restored this church to a nice state."
