"Plymouth’s dockyard has played a pivotal role in the history of the country, and the pays homage to that. It records the development of the dockyard since 1300, including two world wars, its relationship with the Royal Navy, and the people of Plymouth. Through the heritage site, you can explore some of the buildings, exhibit galleries, and naval vessels which tell the story of the historic dockyard and learn how important it’s been to the city itself."

Exeter Landmarks and Monuments: Exeter, Devon, England
"Address: 140 Fore Street, Exeter, Devon, EX4 3AN, England, UK Tel: +44 01392 412348 Standing on Fore Street and dating back to 1471, Tuckers Hall is now a Grade II listed landmark and was formerly a chapel, being built for the city's guild of the weavers, tuckers and shearers (the woollen cloth workers). Soon after, this medieval building began to function as a meeting space and guildhall for the weavers, and was modernised by the Victorians in the 1870s. Exeter is very famous for its historical woollen textile industry, and in the early 18th century, was actually responsible for some 25% of England's overall output."

Most Instagrammable locations in Plymouth to visit this Autumn
"If you're one for a woodland walk, then Plymbridge Woods will see you right. This wooded valley of the River Plym is covered in wild flowers such as wood anemone, wild garlic, primroses and bluebells, with fallen leaves of Autumn adorning the woodland floor when it turns colder. There are several old quarries with industrial remains now covered in ferns and mosses and a plethora of wildlife to spot on your travels - from fallow deer to birds, including the peregrine falcon who breed on an old quarry face within the woodland."

The woods are woven with walking and cycling trails, varying in length but none particularly challenging on this light terrain.
