15 things to do in Brighton with kids
"The world’s oldest operating aquarium, it’s only a shell’s throw away from the sea itself with more than 150 creatures to see at the Brighton Sea Life Centre. Set in striking Victorian building, there are regular special exhibitions, as well as a variety of different underwater habitats, stamp trail, behind the scenes tour, and plenty more to discover including the UK’s first glass-bottom boat inside, activities for kids and the now obligatory underwater tunnel. The newest addition is the special Day and Night area showing how the oceans change over the course of 24 hours, including a bioluminescent beach."

Parks in Brighton - Reviewing All Of The Best Parks & There Facilities
"I can’t believe how long it took for me to visit this park, especially after living in Kemptown for a number of years, but I’m not convinced it’s easily one of the best parks in Brighton and easily the best in Kemptown. The pond is absolutely filled with life, where families come along and throw bread for the ducks, geese and swans who happily eat it all up. There are also plenty of squirrels that come down confidently and love being fed nuts."

Parks in Brighton - Reviewing All Of The Best Parks & There Facilities
"Blakers park has been available to the public for almost 130 years, offering plenty of wildlife and a great place to walk the dog. If you visited during the 90’s, you could be forgiven for thinking North West section looked a bit rundown, however it has now been converted into a bluebell woods thanks to a group of volunteers, which look amazing in the Spring. As with many of the other parks in Brighton, this one also contains 2 tennis courts, however they are reserved for club games on Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings."

Parks in Brighton - Reviewing All Of The Best Parks & There Facilities
"I used to live right alongside this park and walked a neighbour’s dog here every weekend (Poppet) who was a well known staffy, with the cutest smile. The park was a decent size, while there are plenty of squirrels to feed in the trees. There are 8 tennis courts, however they are largely all used during the summer months, so you have to get there early if you fancy a game on a hot Saturday."

10 of the best pubs in Brighton and Hove | BN1
"Although said to be the smallest brew-pub in Brighton, with its vibrant yellow walls and red trimmings, it’s not one that can be easily missed. Located at the start of the high-spirited Kemptown village, with the little alleyway of Marine Gardens leading you down towards the seafront, it’s a pub you can easily slip away for a quick pint, away from the raucous tourist-filled seafront. Though curated over 150 years ago, and not growing much since, a brewery can still be found within its walls, now known as Hand Brew Co."

Top 10 craft beer pubs in Brighton
"Brighton Bier Co, which co-owns the Dispensary, is a so-called "gypsy brew" – that is it moves around brewing beer on other people's kit. However, it is based at the Hand In Hand, a Kemptown brewpub, where it brews a range of Kemptown Brewery beers exclusively for the pub, and its own ales. As bad luck would have it, on this visit none of the Kemptown beers was on among the pub's four cask ales."
