Expect a turn-of-the-century, ivy-covered manor house two miles east of Brockenhurst where inside you’ll find rustic-chic country decor, laid-back staff and lashings of country ephemera (old armchairs, antique clocks, oil paintings and a library of books on rural subjects). Beating in mind the diner numbers the staff were stretched but coped until late on when even though few diners were now left, the service levels dropped a lot.Food was good but not quite very good.All in all a pleasant dinner in a worthwhile spot. 23/05/2021: The Pig is a beautifully decorated restaurant, with excellent food and brilliant service."
