20 Best Bristol Beer Gardens and Terraces
"King Street Brewhouse is – as the name suggests – located on King Street near the busy city centre, and it’s another one of my favourite venues in Bristol. It has a huge outdoor area that takes up half of King Street, with marquees to protect it against bad weather!. They serve a variety of different drinks here, including beers made on-site, local cider, and plenty of spirits, including a selection of gin."

The best restaurants in the neighbourhood of Weston-super-Mare West South West
"04/06/2021: Booked on the day, bearing Covid in mind....few items not available which was initially disappointing but we went on to have calamari, ham hock terrine, crab and belly pork all of which were superb, the belly pork was truly exceptional and the crab was delicious and a very generous serving.Children’s meals were also great and the puddings delicious.Similar comments to others, half venue is local pub vibe and other half lovely restaurant with great views of the sea, toilets could do with a good clean/overhaul and only one waitress serving so felt for her trying to keep up- but she remained kind and calm and rectified small issues identified.Given a 5 really down to amazing food and would defo return on that basis!. 02/05/2021: Great views from the terrace and food was really good. The belly pork was particularly good."

Bath foodie guide: where locals eat and drink
"This simple seafood restaurant is unpretentious and artily rough around the edges – tick your menu requests on a paper menu and hand it to the jolly manager in her local beer and ale-lined cubbyhole. Starters are unfussy plates of the freshest shellfish available on the day, while the mains range from hake in crisp batter to grilled skate, all with proper ‘chippie’ chips and homemade tartare sauce served in a pretty scallop shell. If you’re staying in the west of the city look out, too, for The Oyster Shell, the restaurant’s younger sibling based on Moorland Road."
